Noah's POV

I fell on my knees, I couldn't hold it back anymore. The tears kept rolling down, but I was unable to stop them. I felt a hand on my back and I turned back, Ezra. I knew I could always count on him.

“Ezra”

“I can help you only if you help me, you have to fulfill the promise you made”

“I know I have to, but I can't bring myself to”

“You've always been so strong, and I've always admired you. Give a chance at love and God knows what you'd find”.

“Love kills, I don't want to ever lose you”

“You won't ever lose me, Noah”

“Promise”

“I promise”

“I want the pinky promise” I sulked

“What are we, nine”

I rolled my eyes at that and pouted my lips.

“How could I refuse you, my gorgeous twin.”? He said and grabbed my pinky. “I promise you won't lose me, and I'd always be by your side. Please follow me home now”.

I nodded and wrapped my arms around him. I loved him so much, and he did love me too. Only that his love surpassed mine because he would lose me, soon. I thought as we walked back to my car on the journey home, the home I never knew.
