We've all been there; changing a part of ourselves, bending the rules, making sacrifices- all in the hope of “getting approved", “fitting in" or trying to “belong".
It's a universal experience, but there's a truth we always overlook. And that is; no matter what you do, people would always talk about you. Trying to please people is like chasing a shadow. You'd want to catch up with it but you can't. So why not you do what makes you happy?
