stressed out
(some mentions of cg/l, little space)

"baby, you're supposed to break it in... short amounts of time." pete frowned, sneaking into the girls bathroom with patrick.

"but I didn't have it long enough to do that..." patrick whimpered, wiping his eyes of tears.

no one cared to pay attention to pete when he followed patrick into the stall. it was not a normal thing, but nobody really seemed to care- the day had been rather long- especially for patrick.

"I know, baby," pete sighed, helping patrick out of his binder.

patrick closed his eyes to avoid seeing his chest, gasping softly as he was finally able to breathe properly.

"it's okay, hon." pete said softly, holding patrick against him gently. "you might have to keep it off for the rest of the day."

"p-pete, no..."

"I'll give you my hoodie, no one will know. besides, nobody is going to be looking at your chest. it'll be alright, I promise."

"but-"

"baby, I don't want you to hurt yourself just because you're feeling bad. I know your dysphoria is bad, but I don't want you to hurt."

patrick sighed, nodding a little. "o-okay..." he mumbled.

-bang bang bang-

"what the -hell- do you think you're doing in here, wentz?! this is the -girls- bathroom!"

"mrs. montgomery, I'm just helping patrick." pete sighed, opening the stall door enough to see the woman. "I'm not doing anything wrong, just helping my boyfriend."

the woman groaned, rolling her eyes. "just- get out of here! you're a -boy- you are not supposed to be in here!" she stomped out of the bathroom.

"he's a boy too, but he can't go to the boy's bathroom! fuckin' bitch." pete grumbled, closing the door again. "here, let's get out of here," pete mumbled, giving patrick his hoodie.

"thank you," patrick whispered, pulling the huge hoodie over his tiny frame.
~~~
"where were you two?" brendon frowned, watching the boys sit at the table.
"patrick was having some problems."
"ooh,"
none of their friends ever bothered to ask what that meant. not because they were uncomfortable, but because they knew it made patrick uncomfortable.
patrick nods, hugging pete's side, refusing to move unless he absolutely had to.
~~~

the day eventually ended and pete decided to bring patrick back to his place.

"are you feeling any better, hon?" pete smiled, bringing patrick upstairs to his bedroom.

patrick nods, giggling softly, remembering something pete said earlier. "yeah, thanks to you, ya big dumby."

"that's good," pete chuckled, sitting with patrick in bed. "do you want to stay over? my parents wouldn't care, and I'm sure your parents wouldn't either."

"yeah," patrick nods a little. "I'll ask to make sure in a little bit. right now I just want snugs."

pete nods, pulling patrick close.

the two ended up falling asleep for a while, happily curled up to one another.
