Uncomfortably Safe
Because of her thoughts and past experiences that she held in her head and kept in her heart , she grew to become the type of person that never really wanted to express her inner sensitivities (feelings) except when it came to her anger.  To her it had become much easier and less hurtful to be mad (with fear) , than it was to feel glad and good (and safe) about her newfound feelings about the person that made her a little too happy and a little too joyful. All because it felt uncomfortably safer with her fears than with what ,kept her happy.
