"Faking a kidnapping is a very serious offence Mr Black," the cop continued talking. Did Caleb hear that? Serious offence. Both of the men sounded not even two feet away from the cottage. Why would Caleb even risk it. He stood behind the wall, peeped in through the tiny tiny gap between the window and blinds. Ziesha could actually hear the sound of her heartbeat in her brains but when Caleb pulled out his cellphone, she lost it. She shut her eyes waiting for them to break in through the door at any minute.
Caleb was legit going to take out pictures of them right now-was he crazy! He was insane. More time passed, the voices drifted away but Ziesha still could not find the willpower to release her eyelids.
"Zie? Hey, they gone..." Caleb spoke softly. "I think they got men on watch though but I can't really see them from this distance." Then why don't he go find them since he seems to be doing everything possible to get them caught. He held his hand out for her.
"Are you out of your mind huh?! You could've gotten us killed! What if someone saw you!" She got up herself, pushing his hand away. He shushed her. Oh wow, great. He was allowed to get out of hiding to take out damn pictures yet she wasn't allowed to raise her voice a bit. That's balanced.
"Zie, I had to know who's leaking us out. And we didn't get caught love so chill." As if she could chill. "That Black guy," he continued talking like she was even interested in one word he was saying, "I know him from somewhere. He looks familiar."
Ziesha glared at him, frustration pouring out of her. They were trapped here in this small freaking cottage with no food, water or even their clothes and he was stressing over the fact that he knew that guy from somewhere.
"We were this close to getting caught Caleb." She used her thumb and index finger to emphasize her point. "This close and you still risked it. What're you gonna next huh? Walk through all those men surveiling the house. There's no way of getting out of here Caleb. We are stuck!
"This whole thing is a mess-it's a disaster! It's ruined. We getting nowhere...Meera is missing for real this time. Dino is running on thin ice, anyone could find him. My dad is alone with no one to protect him and we are stuck in this stupid cottage! Can't you see that?!"
