We sprinted to the warehouse, our hearts racing with fear.


"What's going on, Ryan?" Alex demanded over the phone.


Ryan's voice dripped with malice. "Jake's in a bit of a situation. You'll find him inside."


We burst through the warehouse doors, scanning the dimly lit space.


"Jake!" I shouted.


A faint noise led us deeper into the warehouse.


We found Jake bound and gagged, surrounded by Ryan's goons.


Ryan emerged from the shadows, a smirk twisting his face.


"Welcome to the party," he sneered.


Alex charged forward, but Ryan's men restrained him.


I rushed to Jake, frantically untying his bonds.


"Get him out of here," Jake whispered, his eyes locked on Ryan.


Ryan's smile grew. "Not so fast."


A figure emerged from the darkness.


Sarah.


But something was off.


"Sarah?" Jake whispered, confusion etched on his face.


The woman's eyes seemed cold, hard.
