(A story based on true events)
one night a girl called Sara was getting ready to go out with some friends who lived a few boroughs away from her. Sara had met with her friends and they decided to go to some bars a few stops away on a train, they had fun drinking and dancing but as the night was drawing to a close Sara and her friends decided to part ways, it was roughly around 3am in the morning she decided to catch a cab home she walked along some silent but dead back streets not a soul was around for miles. Sarah continued to walk the silent back streets for what seemed like hours to see if she could flag down a cab but there wasn't a car or person in sight and the trains wasn't running.
Finally Sara came to a backstreet near an underpass tunnel near a busy high street she continued to walk down the street, as she walked on the opposite side of the underpass tunnel which was quote a distance away from her she looked at the end of the tunnel something shiny and metal was glistening in the moonlight there was a shadow of a black silhouette. Sara thought nothing of the black silhouette and continued walking down the back street until she reached the high street, there were drunk people and party revellers down the high street but she proceeded to turn the corner on to the high street and she walked for a minute or so she came to a side road to the right of her and she heard a very loud clanging noise, she looked down the side road to see a very tall skinny man dressed in black who resembled the slender man walking fast towards her on crutches. Sara began to feel uncomfortable and unsafe so she picked up speed and continued to walk fast past the side road, Sara was only walking for a few seconds when she came to another side road on her right and to her surprise the same scary looking slender man figure began moving very fast again clanging as he came towards her on the crutches she Began to get scared and ran to a nearby bus stop where a man was playing a trumpett she sat at the bus stop and waited for the scary man to walk past but as he approached the bus stop where she was sitting she heard the clanging of the crutches and then it stopped she looked behind the bus stop to see the scary looking slender man sitting in a dark doorway of a building behind the bus stop staring right at her. Sara was horrified and scared she fled from the bus stop and flagged down a cab where she managed to get home, all night she wondered what was the man's intentions, what did he want with her for the next few years she began to be plagued by nightmares and dreams of the scary looking slender man and could still hear the clanging of the metal on the crutches. To this day it still remains a mystery to Sara but a night she will never forget.
