the downer killer: the 161 house
stories one: the 161 house
i saw that human pass. its the same killer everytime. as a raccoon, i see alot of things. at a certain point, you become curious of strange individuals. so i followed the one, the one on downer street. the one who killed. this was its first victim. a young female, who was thriving. this, is her story.
"i was walking home from the corner store just down the street. murray was just between me and the corner store. living on downer street was never a nice thing, especially living in Toronto. the old woman who worked there would rip people off, lie, cheat... some said that she even killed. but, it was late and i didnt really want to go far just for some snacks. the person who used to work there, john, was so nice and such a wonderful person. but after is disappearance, she moved in. i opened the door only too hear that friendly, everyday bell. i was so familiar with it, it made me smile every time i had heard it. i walked over to the aisles and chose which ones to wander down. after a few minutes, i decided to buy a small bag of chips. i picked the dill pickle flavour, walked over to the counter and pulled out two one dollar coins. i thought the max would be 2.00, which was still high, but to my surprise it was... 5.99. it honestly wasnt worth it, but i paid for it anyway, as i was really hungry, and kinda had a craving. i paid for it all, and walked out with my bag. murray street was abnormally clear, so i crossed and walked my way home. ut was a 3-5 minute walk from that store and my house. while halfway there, i looked across the street when i was greeted by a raccoon, walking its way down the street. it didnt seem hostile, and it kept to its side of the road, so i couldn't care less. once i got home, i noticed my neighbor's motion cencered lights were on. the only way for them to trigger, would be if someone was in my backyard. we didnt have any local animals, other then that raccoon apparently, so i thought nothing of it. i opened my door, and the large squeak sound made its presence known. i closed my door and made my way up the stairs. i put my chips down and realized my mistake... it wasnt chips i even was craving for...
it was fruit.
i didn't even eat dinner, and this was way healthier anyway, so i grabbed all sorts of stuff and decided to make a smoothie. i put my fruit in the blender, plugged it in and... the squeak of my front door opening. it was 3:13 at the time so i was a little creeped out. i ran down the stairs to check, but when i got down there... nothing was there. my door was open, but i didnt see anyone. i closed it and went back upstairs. i got upstairs when i noticed something...
someone was trying to hide in the bathroom.
they were wearing a black tracksuit and a black cap. she was holding what looked to be a hammer. i ran into the kitchen and i heard the footsteps follow. once i got there, i took off the glass part of the blender, and turned it on. she swong and she hit my arm. i heard it crack, but i was sure it wasn't broken. i pushed back her arm and tripped her as she fell onto the ground. i pulled the blender up, and smashed the movung blades into her face. it was a mess, but she was trying to kill me anyway. i realized it was my neighbor, but at that point i didnt care. i was too excited. i decided, why not do this more?"
that day across the street, i noticed the strange girl and her chips, as i had an anonymous feeling about her. i could see in, due to her balcony window. that was the day i decided to follow mary pines.
