My Neighbours Disappearnce

You woke up feeling great. Your neighbours’ loud dogs weren’t barking and you don’t hear the kids fighting over toys. You proceed to follow your morning routine as usual and go to work. What do you think happened? Create something extraordinary as a story.
It was a morning just like any other, the only thing missing was the loud barks of the dogs next door as well as the regular fights and disagreements between the Fergusion set of twins Jon & Josh.
My ten year old daughter Ashley with her very curious mind would always questioned me about their regular fights.
She would asked, "why are they fighting mummy, don't they love each other as much as I love you and daddy?"
I would always try to reassure her that everyone have disagreements from time to time and because they were fighting didn't mean that they didn't love each other.
She would also asked if they were feeding the dogs, why where they so noisy, can we give them some food.
However, on this particular day, Ashley's curiosity was different. She was so unsettled during her breakfast, she wanted to know why it was so very quiet at our neighbours house.
I had no idea, why and so promised her that I would check in on them later on after work if there was still no movements coming from their place.
It was approximately six thirty when I returned home, I decided to keep my promise to Ashley and check in on the Fergusion.
I noticed that their car was still in the driveway, I peeked around the back and there was no sound of the dogs, the place was completely empty. I knocked loudly at the front door and also at the back, I shouted out their names several times but got no reply. At this point I had no other option but to assume that they were away on holiday and the dogs were put into kennels during their vacation.
I returned home and when Ashley approached me again several questions later, I reassured her and told her of my suspicions.
A couple of weeks went by and still there were no signs of the Fergusion, concerns were now growing from everyone around, even their extended families were also concerned as they had not heard anything at all from them. And this was completely out of character for them.
In the days that followed the Police presence became visible active at their home. It was all a mystery to everyone around, there were no signs of them on their home CCTV since the previous day before they went missing.
There were loads of speculation circulating around about their disappearnce.
And one of those speculation was that they were caught up in the rapture.
Due to the large Police presence next door, we decided to stay at my parents for a bit until ut all die down as it was far too unsettling for Ashley, who's very curious mind could not understand what exactly was really happening.
My parents are avery active in the church, my dad is actually the minister there.
And so one evening at the dinner table Ashley started asking her granddad about the rapture
Grandpa, said Ashley; some kids at school are saying that our neighbours were taken by the rapture, can you please tell me what that is.
And Dad replied, you see Ashley the rapture is an event which marks the end of the world, where Christians both dead and alive will be taken from this earth to meet Jesus at the second coming"
Ashley became even more curious, and without taking a breath she started firing several questions at dad. Does that mean that our neighbours, even their dog and Jon and Josh have all gone to meet Jesus, how long will they stay, are dogs Christians as well, when will we be going granddad? I want to meet Jesus too.
Dad looked at Ashley and smiled, and calmly replied, Ashley my dear, in response to your questions, one should first need to accept God’s merciful judgment in Christ and place complete trust in the him; in short you need to have faith. And once you have been justified and even through temptation still remain dependent on the grace of God. With a “ working faith through love” then you'll have nothing to worry about.
Ashley fired up another question, but when will we be going granddad? Dad replied, none of us knows when that will be, he shall come just like a thief in the night, two people will be in one bed, the one shall be taken and the other left.
There will be two raptures, the first will be a secret rapture—or carrying away of the saved to heaven—at the beginning of a seven-year period of tribulation, during which the antichrist will appear. The second phase occurs at the close of this time of tribulation when Jesus will return to Earth in triumph and glory.
And the beings who have been most closely connected here below shall, in the twinkling of an eye, be parted for ever."
But grandad, said Ashley what is Tribulation....I'm worried granddad, whats going to happen to all of us will we be in the first or second rapture?
Dad replied, Ashley my darling there's no need for you to be worried. Dad then took out his bible and started reading to Ashley, listen here he said. Jesus promised that he would return to Earth to take His people to be with Him. He said, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also (John 14:1-3,
Ashley suddenly went very quite and later on that night when I tucked her into bed, she said, Mummy, I am so glad that Jesus will be coming back for us, I just hope he'll keep was all together so that we will always be a family forever, because mummy, wherever you are I want to be there also.!!
To this day the Police are still trying to establish the whereabouts of the Fergusions', there are still several missing persons posters dotted around but still no new update regarding their disappearnce. As for Ashley she no longer have any more questions regarding them as she too us now antiscipating her time when she will be caught up in the rapture!!
