No Longer
In the depths of my heart there's a ache,
A longing for a love we once had.
Though I miss you, the truth i spit,
The pain and the hurt, it slowly regresses.

For when we were together, it was all fine,
But deep down inside, there was a silent decline.
A mask being put on, a lie being told.
The love we shared, it began to rust, either and die.
It Left us both broken, full of questions,on separate roads.

And now, as I remember what used to be,
I realize that perhaps we were not meant to be or to see,
a future where we was happy and meant to be.
For it was in our togetherness we often misled.

Though I miss you, I must let you go,
so I can let my own wounds heal and let new feelings grow.
Sometimes, it's better to be apart,
than to hold onto a love that no longer belongs.

So I'll keep the memories we once held close,
but I gotta start healing and let go of this fear.
For in all this brokenglass, there lies a strength not told,
And a chance to find a love that's yet come.
