Town Crier
Omitoro was once a kingdom in the Yorubaland. In Omitoro, there was a culture that was strictly followed. Whatever the town crier said must be followed or there would be calamities. Because of the aforementioned, the town crier was always well informed before he is allowed to take his gong to spread the information to the inhabitants of the kingdom.
Omitoro once had a mighty king who had twins as sons. During the king's reign, Awire was the town crier. Awire was a very responsible and modest man. He earned the trust of the king and his subjects, even the people loved him because he knew how to deliver his messages well.
The king's sons, Fade and Bade, had all the luxury and respect they deserved. They had it to the extent of thinking they had the world under their feet. They disregarded the common people to their good father's dismay.
Awire was one of the many people disrespected by the twin sons of the king of Omitoro. He was often mimicked and called the village gossip. Awire's son, Irawe, deeply hated the princes. Irawe himself was not less mocked by the princes even though they had the same birth date.
The king could not stop them. He wished their mother was still alive, maybe they would not have been that way. Only the king could rebuke them without caution, every other person, including the chiefs, took caution when rebuking them.
