"And who are you to take responsibility of her?"

Nathan's dangerous voice boomed inside the room making Ishaanvi shift in the chair uncomfortably and feeling somewhat intimidated.

"I can ask the same question to you , what gives you the right to make her stay here?"

Ishaanvi spoke hitting a sore nerve of Nathan , Nathan hated it whenever Julia saw him as the king but not his real self or treated him differently, was he even her friend? What is their relationship? Are the thoughts that invaded his mind.

"It's for her own good and safety . Hume pata hai hum kya krrhe hai , tumhe jawab Dene ki zarurat nhi Hume."
(I know what I am doing , I don't need to answer you.)

"Yeah Hume na sikhaye kya humari dost ke liye accha hai aur nahi , just answer the question."
(Do not teach me what is good for my friend and what's not.)

Nathan paused hearing her question and Suryavarth 's hand gripping the hilt of his sword tightly , as if ready to slay the woman who dared to talk like this to his master .

"Fine , I will answer your questions and make you believe I mean no harm to Julia BUT in return you need to take an oath that Julia will never find out about this , not until I myself decides to confess to her."

Nathan spoke in his authoritative tone leaving no room for any further questions or arguments to which Ishaanvi gulped and nodded knowing better than to provoke him right now .

"Then.. let's start from the beginning ."

He paused then continued making all the surroundings fall silent and only his words to be heard .
