AbandonedWorks Pt 2 - Silent Cemetery
Chapters completed - 1

Og desc : Zia's life is always changing, nothing new. But after the death of her uncle and the funeral bringing her to where she isn't out of place, she returns to the cemetery where he was buried. The cemetery where every time she's there, even in crowds of people, is always silent.

- Silent Cemetery 1 -

The wind whistled, I remember how cold it was. I remember standing there in the most uncomfortable shoes ever. Watching as my mother married a man whom I didn't care for. He hated my style. He claimed me satanic. Although I realize how he could get what I am versus others, I am not of such. I hate him. He's the satanic one. I tried telling Mother he was cheating on her but she adores him. What'll happen when she figures out?

It was Mother and Father's anniversary when we got the news about Uncle Zach. A car crash. He was dead. The funeral was a few days later. Finally, I won't look out of place in my bright, show and tell family. Because right now. We're just standing at Uncle Zach's gravestone in the cemetery. It's so silent.

                    - Chapter one : Out of place -

"Zia! Get down here before the food gets cold!!" Mother shouted from the kitchen. She didn't get that I don't really care for her favorite breakfast, strawberry pancakes, maple bacon, ew!
"Zia! Hurry up damn it!!" Father called out. Last time, he had to drive me to school for missing the bus. He hated me for that. He hated me for everything.
I got down the stairs, dressed as i could be. Father scowled at me as though i were the devil himself.
"Get rid of that skull necklace. I hate it." he said. I walked by him without a word as I'd done every morning. Grandma gave this necklace to me for my birthday. We didn't have a party. Not because I didn't wanted one but because Father convinced Mother they would be possessed if we did. So behind their back, Grandma and I invited a few of Grandma's friends in secret for a small party at her house. Grandma is my only supporter. Her friends aren't as much but they think as long as she's happy they are. And as long as I'm happy she is.

The girls in the school halls laughed at me. Giggling and calling me the devil's girl. Saying mocking phrases like "Halloween is over." Those phrases are all right out of the book. I know from youtube. Not this school. Nobody here is like me, they don't think, talk, dress, act, or feel like me. I may not be alone in this world, but at this school, I'm one in no where.
"Zia? Zia! Are you listening?" my teacher asked me. His distasteful expression at me stared through to my brain as though he knew how much i despised being here.
"I have a headache." I lied. I wanted to get away from my classmates who threw paper at me with hateful comments. I needed to get out.
"Aw the dead girl can still feel. " Another book phrase. I almost begun thinking bullies couldn't read.

"Again? Really Zia?" Nurse Emma asked as soon as I opened the door to the infirmary.
"Yeah yeah, I just need a break." I replied. Emma always shivered at the sound of my voice. She knew that more often than not, half way through the day I "get a headache" and need a break. Emma knew this was my only escape. I had to go back to classes though after lunch. Thankfully, my after lunch classes aren't with the classmates that always hated me, rather it's with the hated nerds, geeks, shy and left out. I won't be as much out of place. In fact, they all looked up to me.
