Chapter 1 : The Grief of Makaira
Makaira Akiyama, the eldest daughter of the Sasaki family was in deep sorrow. Police opened and closed the case of Mrs. Keomi's disappearance two times but still couldn't find any concrete evidence against her disappearance.
This scandal happened just 4 days after Junpei's wedding. The family members couldn't figure out that how Mrs. Keomi disappeared all of the sudden. Moreover, Police declared her dead which made the family members even more helpless and hopeless.
Hideo, Makaira's son, would keep crying for food but she had gone mad at such a point that she would think he is crying for Mrs. Keomi. Seeing Makaira's condition, who would just keep lying and staring at her mother's picture all day without having food, Junpei took the responsibility of Hideo for as many days Makaira was at her father's home.
Junpei was also disturbed and couldn't find any way to make Makaira's condition better, so he called Kazuko, their cousin, for help.
