The Hospital (part 1)

The footsteps following me sounded closer. I ran through the empty corridors of the hospital, my heart pounding with terror.
I turned a corner and stopped short. I had reached a dead end. I wanted to go back. I wanted to shout but couldn't for they would hear me. I was then feeling very stupid for making such a stupid choice.
Few hours back :-
Aman: So you are decided?
Me: Yes
Sweta: U wanna think about it again ?
Me: No. I want to prove myself.
Both of them: Alright.
I had to show them that I was not afraid of ghosts or supernatural things. They didn't believe me so they brought me here to this hospital. It was closed five years ago because of a dreadful fire. People say all those patients and doctors (around 200) who died in the fire still roams around in the building especially the founder of this hospital. I didn't believe any of it so I had to prove it to my friends.
I went in with the torch light. I first roamed here and there in the first floor for about ten minutes then went to the third floor. The condition was to stay there for at least 3 hrs. I wasn't afraid for there wasn't much to see except insects and bats. Nevertheless I continued walking. All of a sudden I heard some whispers. Two people were talking or rather arguing with soft voice. I was petrified.
I thought they cannot be ghosts or something like that for I could see a flashlight from a mobile coming out of the room. But I was scared. I tip toed to the window and stayed low to listen to them. From what I understood from there conversation was that they were talking about drugs and were arguing for the price.
Unfortunately a cockroach came to visit me by crawling near me. In this whole world the only thing I was scared of was cockroach. I can accept the fact that I have been kidnapped by an alien or killed by a ghost but never can I and a cockroach be in the same room even for I second.
