As I lay here half awake half asleep thinking. Every thought in my mind keeps going back to where I was when I first met you. Your smile, your gentleness the longing for your embrace even just a little hug. I close my eyes and dream that one day soon you will be real and want me in your life. You left me when I was a baby so you could get drunk and high. Never once did you want to find me in life. Why did you neglect and abandon me. Was I not worth it worth getting to know. This pain I feel still inside is like a fire burning in my soul and in my heart. Some days I want to scream and yell but you won't hear me. Still living my life wondering why oh why did you leave me .
