The city I lived in was quite peaceful, and we blocked out the outside world, which was the reason for our so far successful society. Everyone was called beautiful in their own way, and if someone thought otherwise, it was second nature to bury those feelings and never speak them. We were all accepted for who we were. Sure, we were all different, but that didn't stop us from tolerating each other and allowing each other to feel comfortable in our own skin.
That was, until the outside world broke our peaceful barrier and barged into our lives.
"Every citizen of this city will now partake in our situations and serve for us," said the leader of the outsiders when they had all finally managed to completely wreck our city. "It's either that, dear people, or be executed."
