In God We Trust
I Last night my daughter said she watched a video where this man taught his daughter at eight, how to surrender when she saw a cop.  He taught her to speak in docile tones and keep her hands up. I said that's crap babes. The only true defense Blacks have when they meet a cop is invoke faith and ask God to intercede. Ask Him either to never let the cop see you at all or ask Him to talk to the cop's heart. There is still a soul behind that uniform.

In all the recent madness, I had forgotten that I had long discovered, I can't protect my children from all they will face.  However, I can teach them to have faith in God,  and listen to their intuition.  After all, this is how He talks communicates with us. We forgot to listen to it sometimes.

I ask God to keep a shield over me in my daily sojourns. I admit I forget His capacity sometimes and play I relying on my humanness but I am soon jolted back to reality. Faith is a muscle you got to exercise and develop it. Remember the infinite power of God flows over me, around me, through me.

I pray as my black brothers and sisters traverse during these charged times, they remember they are the pupil of God's eye.  He knows you have never lost faith in Him, never not been His good and faithful servants. It's just we rarely ask for things just a lot of virtues. Don't pray for the strength he'll send you a test to strengthen you. Don't ask for the protection it means you think bad coming. Don't be content be grateful and asked for abundance. Ask for happiness and ease. God is eager to deliver but you keep asking to be tested.  Trust and ask more specifically.

Remember our brothers and sisters who are now with Him are looking down on us eager to keep the fight going in a positive, easy way. Walk-in Faith. Know you are supported here and the next dimension. God bless!
