Not a Minor Disease
"I didn't know she/he was depressed"."Never told me anything!"
"How can a smiling face can commit something like this!"
Well they didn't know the part of your story. How lonely you had started feeling lately. How detached you used to feel from the happy crowd.

And it didn't happen suddenly in one day.At the beginning, you tried to brush it off.You listened to songs, you tried to pamper yourself.
You thought you are going to be okay.
Until one gloomy day,you realise nothing is going on the way you had wanted it to be.You start to blame yourself, maybe the fault is in you.You still greet people with a smile on your face, but once you are alone, your happy thoughts start to succumb to pessimism. You feel restless, you desperately search for a shoulder to cry on.
Days pass.
You now make excuses to be alone.
You start to realise, you feel weary all the time. You lose interest in things you used to enjoy, you no longer crave for your favourite food, you no longer want to talk about your crush with your best friend.
Instead you just lie down in bed, blankly staring at the ceiling. There are no thoughts in your head anymore.Even thinking makes you feel drained out now a days.
No,You didn't tell them anything. You thought they would not understand, how you had been fighting with yourself for days, how you had cried all night silently, how you had wished to get back to your former happy self.

Depression is like cancer. It spreads stealthily and silently until everything seems meaningless and out of order.Until you start feeling uncomfortable in your own skin.
So let's be a little sympathetic to the others.Let's not judge anyone. If they try to reach us out with their problems, let's try to listen to them.Be kind to them.
Remember,they are all warriors.
So,Help them win.
