That Little Warmth
"That small amount of warmth pulled me out of the terrible, pitch-black night as I was buried in darkness. like a cozy ray of sunshine that cheers my wintry spirit. How am I not smitten by that sun? I trailed behind him like a sunflower, but all I ultimately received were the snowflakes of his deceased soul. It was a lovely morning dream with soft sunlight, but I'm not sure when your kindness transformed into lonely, yearning days."

--Anahira

I put this letter in my diary after reading it through again. In front of me is a small box that holds some old, vintage memories of someone I will always remember.
As I stare at it, my thoughts stray to the times when I was carefree and unaware that a quiet storm that would permanently alter my course is about to strike.

Hello, I know you're asking, who am I, right?
I'm Mir, and welcome to my world. I understand that your name is quite common and average, exactly like mine. Please look after me. I sat down close to my classroom window after saying this. I'm in my first year of MBBS, although my parents want me to be a responsible child and a lifesaver, I am genuinely not interested in becoming a doctor. Thus, here I am.
For those who do not know, let me introduce myself: I am tall, attractive, with fair complexion, brown eyes, and brown hair. I also possess modeling skills. Who cares, though? All I can do is ponder my life.
I was in my own world when there came a knock on my desk. Someone I didn't recognize approached me. "Hello mister, this is Niar," he said. Please allow me to sit here.
Laughing, I said, "Yeah sure, this seat is empty anyway."
I really want to go to sleep, but the person next to me keeps talking about his terrible life, and it has been fifteen minutes since he said that. Extroverts, I suppose, are just like that; they don't give a damn if you want to talk to them or not, or if you know them or not. They only require someone to boast about in their lives. I find it fascinating that someone can easily get confused with others in a single meeting, while I spend most of my time talking to myself to pass the time.
Once each student had finished introducing themselves, the instructor began discussing the significance of physicians. Man!! How am I going to make it through here? My college experience has been incredibly dull already on my first day. This is what occurs when you do the things that you find objectionable and allow others to control you. Positively, though, I can still see that this place is quite calm, I am in a new place with new people, faces, and everything is new to me—aside from the lectures, which are like lullabies and put me to sleep.
I heard laughter coming from the corner of the room just as I turned to leave the first session. I noticed three people in a group when I glanced out of the corner of my eye. It appeared as though they had been friends for a very long time. Who knows? Perhaps they were buddies in school, maybe not. However, I also wished that I had some friends who would help me get by here. Ah, I see! What wonderful fortune I have. They may be choosy, but at least they appear content. As far as I could see, only the two of them were fighting wildly; the black-haired girl in the middle was just grinning and observing. Not sure why, but it seems like I can not get my eyes off of her, like I know her. She does appear familiar, but where was she when I saw her previously?Oh well, whatever. Perhaps it is just a delusion of mine.
