"Tktkee-uuu" with this the dolphin plunged into water and she smiled.
She stood up fixing her dress and walked towards her cottage. No one knew where did this angel came from but she was the heart beat of the whole Diamond Island.
An old monkey once told on a dark stormy evening a big ship drowned and she was the only survivor of that tragedy. One dolphin saved her.
She was still an infant back then. Forest animals took her in. On the command of great Lioness dolphins went to harbor everyday but no one came looking for her. There were no media or newspapers through which they can look for her relatives. She was really young to tell about her whereabouts.
The only things she had was a necklace. It has her name embedded on it. The name of that baby was "Neya". She was beautiful having brown complexion, brown eyes like a deer, black hair, button nose, chubby cheeks, broad forehead like warriors with a beautiful smile.
In beginning no one touched her. Soon innocent aura of younger attracted adoration of everyone. Animals brought her up with great care. They loved her and cherished her a lot. So what if it's a human child; a child is a child needed to be handled with love and care.
They treated her like a princess. At first she used to live in Lion's den. Lioness took special care of her. Everyone was eager to teach her their language. When she started to stand on her own everyone was delighted. Lions, tigers, zebras and even monkeys everyone volunteered to teach her walking. Great Lioness chose monkeys and instructed them specifically to teach her all human ways. They taught her well excluding the hidden talent of climbing trees.
Neya grew up with an adventurous and exploring personality. Frequently she used to escape Lion's den to play in wilderness. Lioness designated fox, monkey and to teach her humane ways and build her a cottage to live.
Even though she lived in between beasts but she was brought up like a flower who was soft yet stern when needed. Dolphins taught her to swim. When she grew up more everyone built a cottage for her. She bloomed into a kind, loving and understanding person a total sweetheart. She was the light of everyone's eye and Princess of everyone's heart.
As soon as she entered in the cottage he squeezed corner of her dress to get rid of excessive water. Dolphins are fun to play with but it came at some cost.
When she was busy drying up a squirrel circled around her neck "Hey dear". She felt hungry. In home usual fruits and veggies were there.
No I want something new!
She picked up handwoven basket from straws and stepped outside. It was given to her by bears. She collected berries from the forest and washed them.
Sun went down to sleep beneath the horizon. Cool breeze was blowing. She sat down beside water and started eating. She was watching two owl snuggling together on a near by tress. She sighed and stared towards moon.
When will my mate appear?
