He came back to British parliament and said -'I surveyed very minute things of India . I concluded that whole power of Hindu sanskriti is situated in gurukul ,but don't worry, we would established convent there, so that they would cut from there roots, and hence first convent was started in kolkata in 1842 and Modern education system brought by maccaley in 1835. who himself indulged in destroying gurukuls, he also destroyed our real past, he also forced India to learn informative knowledge rather than practical knowledge.
