As a child we all crave for sweets .But we hardly had money those days and we did get a penny sometimes from pa......and we hurriedly ran so happily just to buy a chocolate .We didn't had 5stars , Cadbury or a KitKat .It was just a colourful candy which was the cheapest .And we used to choose especially the red ,pink or the orange ones to give the tint of those candy colours to our lips .We ran to the mirror to catch a glimpse of our lips after having it . Chewing gums were also our favourites ,a brand called NP chewing gum was so good .We used to share with our friends and compete ,who could blow the biggest balloon from a chewing gum .Many at times we swallowed it while chewing and friends presuming that the gums would stick like a glue in our intestine ,sometimes giving us a nightmare that our intestines would have to undergo a surgery giving us so much fear . Then came Phantom cigarettes ,a mint chocolate which looked everybit like a cigarette .Seeing the adult smokers we as children pretended to do the same with the phantom cigarettes .And Everytime we got a one rupee coin we bought those packets and our girl gangs turning into a chocolate smoker .But we always liked the cheapest ones . Did anybody try a chocolate which had a shape of an egg .Those colourful eggs always made us pop as it was so sweet .Sometimes we chose a green egg and sometimes a red one ....but as we licked the outer colour with our tongue then it looked like a small white egg .Coconut chocolate was also our favourite .As for now still the taste of those chocolates remains vividly in my mind .My chocolate days are gone and every child has a different chocolate story .
