Dream

Running, I remember running as fast as I could, my breath loud and painful, then falling I remember falling. I tripped on a rock or my shoe lace and plummeted forward using my hands to cover my face hoping it wouldn’t hurt as bad, but I was wrong. I quickly sprung back up and continued to run, something warm and sticky trickled down the side of my face but I couldn’t care less. What was I running from? I wondered but was unable to answer, my feet were in control not me. I continued to run till I made it to a large stream of water that led to a waterfall, underneath it was a little gateway.
