BLUE DIAMOND
In the present time we live in now, people have no belief In magic or cursed artifacts. For years archaeologist find and collect these fascinating pieces of history.
Hundreds of years ago, in the depths of the foggy mountains in China, rings out the screams of a terrified magician as he runs to save his life protecting the one thing that could cause chaos in the wrong hands, a rare diamond. Cutting across the branches and luscious thick green Bush around him, he was in desperate need of help. He shouted and screamed hopelessly. He was being chased by a group of Chinese men, they were all wrapped in black outfits with cone like hats. Sandals that wrapped up their ankles, for weapons they carried blades, knives, bows and arrows. Their aim was to retrieve the diamond and kill the magician before he reached to the top of the mountain. The magician knew he couldn't make it to the mountain top so he decided to distract the men using his magic. He created a strange misty fogg that covered the path he took ,which confused the Chinese men for a little while, they couldn't see which way the magician went . This gave him time to reach the river. He was known for his strange power of illusion. His magic only got him as far as a rapid river that hangs off a cliff, leading deeper into the forest. Running as fast as he could , he began to jump cross the river when his luck fell short. One of the Chinese men struck him down from behind with an arrow. The magician felt the pain of the arrow penetrate through his back ,his eyes were filled with tears knowing he had left his family behind. He backwards off the cliff into the rapid crystallized water below . His lifeless body floated off the cliff and disappeared under the water. The group of Chinese men waited to see if he would emerge from the water . They sat near the river for hours, only to find an empty brown bag made of cloth that had floated up from the underneath the water . Their suspicion was indeed right the magician was dead. They were disappointed as they left, since they couldn't find the diamond little did they know, that the diamond was kept in the magician's hand. The magician was unconscious and badly wounded his body floated down the quite stream and stopped at the edge of the river bank below the mountain where an old man looked as if he was a hundred years old, wrapped in an orange gown and was bare feet. He pulled the magician from the river and took him to a romote temple that was hidden in the forest. The old man was a monk of the temple, where they practised the art of meditation and ancient fighting skills. The old man tried to revive the magician who was lifeless, his eyes were filled with pain and suffocation as he handed the diamond to the old man. His trust was enough for the diamond to release its powerful blue glow showing the old man a vision of where it was originally created and why it was important to protect it. It showed him that a secret magician society created the diamond for laughter and peace to bring joy to children and hope for another day . The diamond was only supposed to be used for good .The magician breathlessly spoke his last words as he mentioned that someone who's worthy of the diamond would be drawn to its glow. A magician who's capable of handling its miraculous power of illusion. The diamond then turned into a deck of black playing cards reflecting a blue writing of numbers and shapes.
