I want to share what I have learned about food through my experience, and how I have been guided. A part of the sickness and imbalance in my body that I have struggled with affects my weight and hunger. And, I have also struggled with inflammation. I prayed and sought answers from within from God, and was guided to a very interesting man named Dr. Gundry, who is a well-known Dr. and author, although somewhat controversial as many who go against the mainstream ideas of society often are. I was guided to his book called The Plant Paradox. I will mention briefly what he talks about at length in that book. And also what God has told me about food. Both of which are an answer from God from two different directions. In all ways, this has helped me to heal, and is one of the leading causes of some major diseases among humans.

We are animals, and the nature of the human form is that it is designed to live off of larger amounts of fruit and vegetables supplemented by small amounts of meat from animals. It is possible to eat only vegetables and or fruit, however doing so will leave the body lacking in several key nutrients, and proper supplementation either through specific non-animal food sources, or through man made vitamin supplements which are necessary to sustain life when living on a purely vegetarian diet.

Humans are made to eat other animals and require these key nutrients. A part of the ego-mind will say that killing and eating animals is savage and evil, or destructive when in fact it is the proper God-given order of life. When you as a human being in an enlightened mind and body partake of an animal, give thanks for its flesh and life to God and accept it with love and thankfulness. Even in the act of killing an animal for food, it is possible to do it with no malice or negative intentions but knowing fully that it is your God-given right to do so. That it is proper before the eyes of God and is a great blessing from God and reflects the true nature and order of reality.

These things should be done with respect and reverence for the life and body of the animal. The ego-mind will say that taking animals is wrong, when in fact is it God intended. Even those who claim to be very enlightened often suffer from the notion that they cause suffering in another being, when in fact the animals that you are eating know their place full well. It is their purpose and place in life to participate in these structures and roles in physical reality. The animal has no animosity towards you as it leaves its physical form. It simply, and loving moves on to reincarnate as another living form. The web of life and the structure of nature is perfectly balanced in this way. And you are a part of this web and structure of life as an animal like all the other animals on Earth.

Yes, the way society raises and treats animals is often out of alignment with the deeper truth of God and creates suffering for animals. When taking an animal it should be done quickly to cause the least suffering possible. This is the true nature of life as it existed for thousands and thousands of years within humankind before the modern age. There are other worlds full of enlightened beings who partake of animals in the proper proportions and quantities supplementing their vegetable and fruit intake to maintain optimal health and vitality. They do this all while being lovingly respectful to the animals and their planet, and giving thanks to God for the bounty provided.

The way you grow food in your society is aligned with the ego-mind and is in many ways unhealthy for society, individuals, and the Earth. There is a better way to do all things that are taking place on Earth, including raising and husbandry of animals, and growing of fruit and vegetables. There is a way that is aligned with the health of the planet, humans, animals, and the will of God. Knowledge of these ways is among humans, but ego-minded societies prevent these practices from flourishing. Buy organic, healthily sustained, and produced products whenever you can to help promote better health within you, and better practices in food production.

Dr. Gundry discovered the relationship between lectins in food and prevalent modern diseases. He realized that many plants contain substances known as lectins, that are a mechanism developed by many plants to defend the plants from predators. These plants developed these defenses over millions of years of evolution. The lectins are a substance that when eaten by particular animals causes sickness within the animal. Many of the foods we eat as modern humans contain lectins, including beans and wheat. This is why it's very important to cook beans thoroughly and properly before eating them. Certain beans, such as red kidney beans, can be deadly if eaten raw. This is due to lectins. The heat from cooking neutralizes most, but not all of the lectins. One of the most damaging foods we can eat is wheat. Wheat contains a very small lectin that has the ability to get past the defenses in our guts and into our bloodstream and body. This is why a gluten free diet is so important.

Even someone with a perfectly healthy gut would be affected in a small way by wheat, but the problem is that in our modern society everyone has damage to the healthy natural defenses in their guts. The healthy biology in your stomach is key in protecting you against lectins, as well as many other invaders from the world, and is also responsible for most of the health of your immune system.

Because so many of us are being bombarded by pesticides in our food, antibiotics in our meats from animals given antibiotics, pain killers, and other pharmaceutical drugs, nearly everyone has damaged biology in their stomachs. These things harm your natural gut biology. This weakening of the defenses in the gut causes immunity weakness, and also allows more of the lectins from foods we really should not be eating to get into our bodies.

What happens when lectins get into the body is that our body's immune system starts to attack the lectins seeing them as an invading force. The body has a hard time distinguishing lectins from healthy structures in the body, because the lectins are designed to mimic healthy structures already within the body to cause more destruction. So our bodies start attacking everything, and this is what leads to immune diseases such as Lupus, and general inflammation etc. It's a case of friendly fire. Lectins and weakened biology in the gut are a direct result of many diseases.

When you change your diet and remove lectin-rich foods from your diet, your body finally gets a break from the barrage of attacks. This is why you must remove wheat from your diet particularly if you suffer from inflammation, or have ever had a large amount of antibiotics or are taking pharmaceuticals. And also one reason why you should eat organic foods that are free from peticide residues. We as human beings should not be eating wheat. There are better alternatives such as millet. The issue is that humans are now addicted to wheat. We develop unhealthy bacteria in our stomachs that trick us into craving wheat and other products that are unhealthy for us such as sugar-laden foods. These chain reactions also lead to the large amounts of obesity seen especially in America. So much of what takes place within your body starts in the stomach. Your biology in your stomach causes food cravings as these biomes manipulate you into craving foods that they want to eat. That is why so many people crave sugar and unhealthy food. They have stomachs full of unhealthy biology. To heal you must starve our the unhealth biology and eat the proper biology-laden foods and support materials to help to regrow a healthy biome of life in your stomach. The proper support materials for healthy gut biology are fiber, especially from fruit and vegetables, and all healthy natural nutrient-rich foods. The proper sources of healthy biology are yogurt and other fermented foods.

Changing my diet and removing all wheat products has changed my health dramatically. I want everyone to know that this is a very real concern. You can see throughout history the effects of a society that lives on wheat such as ancient Egypt. In ancient Egypt, they suffered from many of the same diseases we suffer from today such as diabetes and inflammation-related diseases. These sicknesses are often related to eating wheat. You must begin repairing the healthy biology in your stomach and removing or reducing lectins. Our ancestors fermented many things as a preservative method. We developed a need for fermented foods over centuries because fermentation used to be a key way to preserve food before refrigeration. We should be eating yogurt, and fermented foods, such as sauerkraut kimchi, and others. We have gotten away from our roots, and our place that is close to nature.
