Abscond the darkeness ( Chapter - 28 )
Julia's P.O.V.

His majesty died? All of a sudden? Wasn't it just today I got the news of him getting poisoned? I pressed my lips together looking down , my heart beating fast as if something unexpected is going to unfold.

"No need to think too much , honey . We are just going to go there as a formality."

He spoke with a small subtle smile and I nodded looking up at him , maybe I really am thinking too much . Even Ishanvi said I am thinking too much. I sighed and stood up from the sofa.

"I understand , dad. Then I will take my leave to prepare for our journey."

And just like that I took my leave from his office , my heart still beating fast .

~~~~~
I wore my peach colour lehenga with beautiful gold necklace and gold hand flower, we both sat down , I on the beautiful palanquin and dad at his horse and we were off to our journey to the capital .
I don't know why but my heart has been beating too fast for some time as if I am in for some kind of a big surprise , taking a deep breath I shook my head not wanting to think anymore and looked out at the beautiful view.
Author's P.O.V.~
Julia was feeling some unexplainable feeling , which can't be easily described in words as they came closer to the capital , whereas someone else was feeling the same unexplainable feeling in his heart just not any kind of negative or nervous emotions.
"Just a few more hours , then you will belong to me SOLELY TO ME."
Said a deep voice inside the royal palace in a huge room darkness consuming it, and a man wearing a black cloak with his face covered with black cloth kneeling down on one knee , with his head bowed down , spoke to the person standing with all the regal aura present around him of the world.
"Duke Espret will be here in not more than two hours , your majesty."
A small smirk appeared on the lips of the man , his dark eyes shining , like the stars shining in the dark night sky , he gently grabbed the curtain of the window pushing it aside as he gazed out of the window tracing his finger on the window.
