GLOBAL LOVE. 💕
"In a world full of variety of skin color, we all suffer a common disease. Misjudgment. " said El Professor.

This was a topic in one of Mr Professor's class after a misconception about a silent girl that sat at the end of the class in the corner.

Ms Thalia was a rare kind of a lady. She always stayed away from people. She preferred her own company due to various reasons. Each time anyone dared to talk, she'd give an ear and you'd hear her giggle from a distance but never for too long. Maybe because she had issues going on, or maybe someone accused her of something or maybe that's just who she was. SILENT.

The lecturers at school seemed to be concerned about her. They organized a meeting, called her in and questioned her. Ms Thalia however, never seemed too concerned either. After some fraction of minutes, she finally spoke.

"I am so sorry if I have been too extra silent, but that's just me, I love being alone because it gives me peace and I don't have to constantly explain about everything. That is how I was brought up. To always mind my own business, to be careful of what I say to others in groups, in class and what to think when am on my own. However, I'll try to adjust. " she said.

The lecturers smiled in accordance. Ms Thalia agreed to adjust and let the class know that she was still learning how to cope with the new normal.

The discussion went on in the next class. Giving the example of Ms Thalia, the Professor led the discussion. He made it clear that it was not okay for one to misjudge and conclude on an unknown person.

"Think of it this way, how boring would the world be if we were all one color, one height and if we all looked alike? The world would be such a boring place. Compare that to now, there is always beauty to behold. The world is a beautiful place if we all put aside our differences and appreciate one another, learn something new about one another, enjoy each others company, discover new delicacies, try on new clothes, learn a new culture, learn a new language, travel to new places, make new friends. What is life then if you do not get to enjoy this before we dead and gone? Preserve everyone's life because it matters. Let's make the world a better place for the future generation."

The Professor took his files and left the room.

The room was filled with silence as students seemed to be in deep thoughts.

That was the last class at end of the semester.
