Drowsy from week-long work, I decided to spend the evening alone at my friend's rooftop restaurant. His grand opening was a great excuse to slip away from the tedious routine of work.

Some Limited guests consisted of his friends and some other people who had the invitation. Everyone was having a great time with the lakeside view and a pleasant wind on the go.
Sir, your drink said the waiter as he handed over my Whisky on the rocks. Sipping on my, drink my eyes caught sight of a girl sitting on the corner table looking at the lake and the driveway beside it, running busy as usual.

A couple of drinks down, I walked up to her and took a seat in front of her.
Hi, I said, introducing myself. I am Rahul.
She turned her head towards me and gave me a stare which felt like her eyes were sending down a chill through my eyes, and then turned her head away.
I hope my presence is not disturbing you I said.
Sensing that maybe she was not in a mood to talk, I had just left my seat when her deep voice broke the silence.
You can sit for a while, She said without making eye contact.
I was confused but still decided to sit back as her eyes scanned me.

My drink was almost over, and I decided to get it refilled.
I will be back, saying I walked up to the bar counter where Arjun bumped into me.
How do you like the place? He asked, looking around.
Pretty impressive, I replied. Btw, I said, gulping down my drink " Who is that girl on that table" pointing towards the table where that girl was seated.
Arjun laughed and said - " which girl?"
I pointed towards the table, where I could see her sitting in the same place.
What he said took out all the highs I was getting.
Dude, you have been sitting alone for the past one hour, he said. "There is no one with you."

I felt a sting on me as he said, again. The reason was that not that he could not see Her, but that only I who saw Her a couple of minutes ago could not locate her whereabouts anywhere new that table.

Instead of the chair, she was on the boundary, and even before I could say something, she jumped off.

I rushed to the railing in shock and looked down. To my horror, where it was supposed to be Blood and a Dead body, I saw nothing. That girl was gone. Where, Why, How? I have no idea about that.

Whatever she was, at least she was not a human.
