The streetlights were dim as the mist enclosed it in its mysterious grip. She peered out of her window into the darkness, was there someone out there or was it her imagination?
Katelyn blinked twice to clear her vision, but it wasn't her imagination. There was someone outside.
She pulled herself away from the window and closed the blinds. Katelyn was about to go to bed when she heard a knock on the door.
'Who could be knocking at my door at 11pm?', she thought.
The 15 year old girl was scared, she didn't want to die.
At that moment someone touched her shoulder, "uh", she jumped.
"Dad, what the hell? You scared me", Katelyn whispered.
"Shhh", the man gestured for his daughter...
