Dear Maya,

I dont hate you, for not choosing me over your family. I understand that, its not that you love me less or cheating me, its just that you dont want to hurt your family.

I understand! Not as a lover, but as a human,let me tell you a thing before we part our ways. Human being born as a child is brought up by a family into decent adult. Not because they want that child to take care of them,but because they want to continue the race of human species on this earth.
They want not to extinct human race.

But what do we really mean by being human? Who is human? whats his identity?

Human is the only animal who has Free will to do whatever he wants. He has freedom to take decision for himself. Loving your self and taking your own decisions as you please, is nothing bad.

Although you aint aware of it,but an adult has legal right to take decision for his own.

However you think about family or others, those people wont come and help when you will be struggling in your life. As you have to face struggle of this life, only you can choose with whom you are comfortable while facing this struggling life.
