Suddenly, she was startled by the ringing of the phone.
She (Ahana) answered," Hello!".
Anuja: Hi im the cat owner. As you have adopted the two of our cats, they will be arriving today.
Ahana: Oh! Yes. I completely forgot.
Anuja: Yes. I called to inform they will be arriving by the evening.
Ahana: Yes yes sure.
She the hung up the call.
She sat down and mumbled," What have you done. This room is a complete mess, i need to clear it. Let this be a start for something new."
She started cleaning, it took couple of hours. Tears still falling silently. Everything coming like flashbacks to her. Stopping in between. What had happened so suddenly. After all this time how could she not know he was not in love with her. How that relationship got so toxic.
