I read it once, then twice. I wasn't imagining it - I had won the lottery! I had a dream of becoming a civil servant once,not to achieve name or fame but purely to serve the society.I wanted to help the poor children who lived in the orphanage and also I wanted to take care of the elder ones who were let in the old age homes.But I gave up my dream of becoming a civil servant as my parents wanted me to become a Teacher.
I won a lottery and I could do social service.Only it could give me satisfaction in life.As a student,I was passionate on Astrology and English literature.I thought these things could help me to earn money and so I could do social services as I wished.I was just 20 years old and I was studying B.A final year.Due to quarantine,our final semester exam had been post poned.I wished to do b.ed next , giving up my interest on UPSC.I also joined in an academy to pass TET examination so that I could become a government school teacher and serve the students to create a good nation.It was also a kind of social service.
I didn't know whether it was because of my good intention,I acheived my aim a bit early.I had won the lottery I withdrew the amount of 50 lakhs and invested the amount on real estate.Also,I gave the profit to an orphanage monthly for their food and other expenses.I was really satisfied with my life as I achieved my dream.
