Introduction to the story_____
School is Starting______
So school is starting and guess who is not going to attend the second term! "ME" seriously. I am in year 11 this year and dad claims he can't afford my fees so I decided I am getting a job. I mentioned it at dinner and mom and dad thought it was okay only if it's a decent job.
Next Morning.....
So I wake up and it's Saturday morning I walk all around this small town in Phoenix and everyone seems to have enough help. I have walked around all day and it's already 4pm. I had almost lost hope when my eyes landed on *Hamphrey's Hotdogs* the place where all high school kids hang around pretty does seem it needs some help so why not give it a try. I walk down to the place and I meet my friend Hillary, I say hi and tell him why am here. He sure looked excited he was smiling from ear to ear. " I will tell my dad and then signal you to come in if all goes well " he said.
I replied " ok" and prayed all does go well. I get a signal after ten whole minutes and go in. Mr. Hamphrey is a tall , mascular brown haired man he is friendly but doesn't get too close with the teens because they can get pretty disrespectful." Kylie" he shouted . "Yes sir " I replied . "So I have been convinced to accept you by Hillary here and I know about your studies and I considered that as well "he said. You begin next Monday at 10:00am and I will pay you 5 dollars a day to wash the dishes and serve your mates. I said thank you and I couldn't believe it I got the job but it starts on Monday the day everyone is going to school except me. "Ok now get going home it's late," he said. I thanked both of them again and left. Oh!!! thank you God. I told mom and dad and they seemed pleased about the job and PAY. I just wish I could go to school this term and quite self studying and using my sister's notes but as dad always says " Kiara is older and she is in a big class!" . Anyway by journal I have chores to do .~~~•••
