Do's and Don't
Don't force things
•
Don't force conversations, if they really want to talk to you, they would.
•
Don't rush your timeline because other people seem to be doing better than you.
•
Your story ends the day your life ends so as long as you live, keep learning how to live (Seneca).
•
You don't have to be the richest in your circle before you consider yourself a successful person.
•
It's not about being rich, it's about getting a life you are comfortable with.
•
True happiness cannot be found in other people, you have to create it within yourself before sharing with other people.
•
Make every minute count, don't wait until you are successful before you start making good memories.
•
Travel if you can afford it, and if you can't, read about those places you wish to travel to and picture yourself in them (places) as you read.
•
Smile, it brings calmness to your mind.
Don't get sad when you face rejections from people, remember what happened to the rejected stone.
•
Accept people as they are and place them where they actually belong.
Whatever career you choose to do, add a touch of comedy to it.
•
You don't need people's approval to be successful.
•
The same people who told you it's impossible will come to you for assistance when they see you making it.
•
There's no joy in trying to better than your neighbour, instead try to be better than who you were yesterday.
•
Sometimes it's better to go back to the past to see what made us fail, not everything should be left behind.
•
Don't get sad when you make mistakes, let the experience inspire you to do better next time.
•
Don't feel bad when things did not work out for you, remember if it were to be, it will happen.
•
Show love to petty traders by buying things from them, they sell to make a living, not to get rich.
•
Know your priorities and put them first.
•
Get yourself a life no matter how little it may seem and if you ever get the chance to go higher, do not settle for less.
