Pain for Profit
When Vincent Van Gogh was asked why he painted, he simply replied: "To stop thinking".
Bro was so hurt he used his art as an escape.

I'm a poet myself and truth be told most of the things I write are often inspired by pain too.

Let this be an encouragement to someone on this platform to find and get yourself preoccupied with something you are so passionate about and transform the tormenting pain you might have been through or is currently going through into ecstatic beauty.

Not to say pain is the only thing that pushes us into becoming better people, but for those like me who have encountered a lot in this life but still found a way to stay composed and gracefully walk in these shoes nomatter how much they hurt - this word of encouragement might come in handy.

If for no other reason at all, I hope you will use that pain you so badly want to stop thinking about to fuel up your passion tanks and work towards becoming one of the best people in whatever domain you would have chosen.

Poetry is therapy;
Music is therapy;
Art is therapy;
The crotcheting business is therapy;
Charity work and any other activity done to benefit the public at large is indeed some form of therapy...
Even the way most of us are so drawn to work makes it pretty obvious that we are resorting to being busy bodies inorder to shake and silence the legion of other voices in our heads.

What are you doing with your pain besides allowing it to kill you softly?

Pain is so easy to portray, but to use your passion and pain to portray the ecstasy and joy and magnificence of our world is a worthy avenue that not everyone has tapped into, hope this helps you to use your Pain for Profit.

Yours,
