When was the last time you found yourself looking, fantasizing and lusting after someone you shouldn't? The Bible tells us that David saw Bathsheba. He saw her and that's how his problem with sin started. Many times, it's the things that we see that affect us way beyond what we can ever imagine. Imagine this, a great man of God such as David, a man after God's own heart, a man who defended his flock of sheep against a lion and a bear. A man who stood up to a fearsome giant with nothing but faith, a slingshot and five smooth stones. This powerful man of God fell into sin he fell into sexual sin, because he looked he looked at Bathsheba. So what are you looking at? Who are you looking at? Because your eyes are gateways. Notice the order of sin. In most cases, men will look at a woman. Women will look at a man lust then arises their mind starts racing and their imagination begins to run wild. And your thoughts will eventually lead to action. So once again, what are you looking at? Or rather Who are you looking at? A lot of us think of sexual immorality as though it's some type of sin.
