"You give wonderful service Mr.Khurana but what I miss is your smile and there is always some sadness lingering on your face." said one of our important clients of our Branch who was on a high post with Income Tax Department.
A Banker should be extrovert by nature if not so he shall try to learn how to be one. I remember my sessions at STC when I used to counsel by teaching them tricks of how to talk to strangers. I will divulge the details in posts later of the wonderful session that yielded contrast changes in participants on the last day of training.
What I practiced all the years of service, I used to preach at STC in later years.
The kind of phase I was going within I could have easily avoided the query.
But the poet in me has subconsciously adopted my own composition as a guiding principle in my life :
"दोस्तों मेरी खता बस इतनी सी थी
बात जुबां पर आई जो दिल में थी "
I have always been more happy by not being tactful by hiding or giving an indirect answer.
I bared my heart out to him 💔 telling him about my personal inner battle to reconcile with my mother's loss recently. After listening to my ordeal, he recommended and then was so nice that he brought the book 📖 for me on the same day. The name of the book was " Concentration and Meditation " by Swami Sivananda. How the Book transformed my life - for that wait till tomorrow ?
