I could see only red while my eye’s ached from the sun. I slowly opened them, and looked around me. I was no longer in the barrier, or the weird doctors, I was in the woods. A light campfire slowly crackled a few feet in front of me. I looked around confused, I don’t remember being here before, as I continued to think, the dream I once had suddenly rushed through my mind.

“I remember where the waterfall is,” I whispered with a little excitement. Branches snapped behind me, someone’s coming I thought. When I tried getting up to hide, someone's arms wrapped around my waist and hugged me. “ Finally your awake” said the voice, it almost sounded like Alex’s voice but just to make sure I quickly pinched the arm, and as a reaction it let go, and screamed, “Ouch, what the hell” I giggled in relief, Alex stood a few feet away, holding the spot I pinched.

I was quickly relieved after seeing Alex, “ hehehe sorry, didn’t think it would hurt that bad” I snickered. He looked at me and replied, “ yeah yeah very funny, but did you have to pinch me that hard?” I thought about it for a moment, glancing around me, then focussed my gaze on Alex, looking him dead in the eyes I replied, “ yes, yes I did. Now start talking!”

“ you passed out after we started fighting Henry and the others”.... My heart began to race, “ okay continue.” His gaze went to the ground “ You t-turned…” Stopped… everything stopped, questions with no answers strung from the deepest parts of my mind… “ What do you mean? Is there something you’re hiding from me Alex?”

I no longer wished for an answer, I wanted to run away from the thought of being something dangerous… Wait, that means I really did feel those things, and Alex… he really did turn into that.. My vision once again began to fade, my memories flooding back to me. I look at Alex, my body shakes uncontrollably, my hands tighten into fists, I could feel tears fall down my cheeks, “ H-how long h-have you known this??”

“ Ever since I first met you, you turned and attacked the Slender men and ran at me”

“ I-I” before I was able to finish my sentence I felt like I was falling and before I knew it all I could see was.. darkness.
