Sherlock Holmes And C. S. Lewis.
The British authour. C. S. Lewis is probably well known by Most readers of English literature,
not The least for his childrens stores about The mythical land of Narnia.
Less perhaps well known was that Lewis quoted Sherlock Holmes stories often in his writing.
Thus in The book The Magicians Nephew, at The beginning of The chapter 1 we read,
AT that time Sherlock Holmes was still living in Baker Street.
The naming of Holmes in a fantasy story is really remarkable carrying The idea that Holmes And Watson really lived,
despite The many Who denied this bit of fiction.
C. S. Lewis was a productive writer,
In The lifetime of Arthur Conan Doyle,
even if he was not particularly a fan of detective stories, but appreciated The art of Sherlock Holmes.
