Someone can propose to you, kneel and put the ring but doesn't love you. People have different reasons for getting marriéd.

Someone can marry to fulfill marriage rites.

Someone can marry to have access to free intimacy.

Someone can bring up marriage talks because you're financially stable/you're from a wealthy family.

Someone can marry you because he wants to get political appointment or any appointment in the society.

Someone can Marry you for r!tual purpose.

Someone can marry you because you're easily controlled and manipulated.

Someone can marry you just to have kids.

If you're lucky to marry someone who is truly in love with you, you're blessed.

Love is not Selfish. But unfortunately, people get married these days for Selfish reasons.
