An Extra Pair of Hands
The day that Tracy asked me and Tom to help her move the rest of her stuff out of storage, we were teasing her. “Only if you make it worth the effort,” we said jokingly to her.
She smiled at the thinly veiled attempt at making her feel compelled to do something in return for helping her. Tracy was always a good friend to both of us, so when she needed help, we didn’t think twice about it, we just liked to tease her first. She was a champ though, took it all in stride, and we know that she would give it right back to us when she wanted to. That was the price of our friendship was to get teased by the others.
But when it came right down to it, if Tracy needed a kidney, both Tom and I would fight to see who got to give her ours. and I know that she felt the same way towards us. We were always close, ever since we first met.

Tracy had broken up with her fiance about 4 months ago and she had put everything into storage while she stayed with her girlfriends, she was finally moving out into her own little apartment and this weekend was the big move.

It is a shame that it has never worked out for her in the romance department, because she was a very beautiful person all around. If it wasn't for our friendship, I may have thrown my hat in the ring, but at what risk?
The three of us were perfect for each other, the right mix of sarcasm and love, the three of us have been best friends and it would be strange for me if she started dating Tom, as I am sure it would be strange for Tom if she and I were together.
I picked up Tom.on the way to the storage building, and as we drove up, we noticed the moving truck already there. We gotmout and headed to the big truck. Tracy was already there moving things to the back of the truck.
"Where have you guys been?" She said sternly.
We both looked at her, then at our watches, "you said 8!"
She giggled, "yeah, but I meant 7!'
We shot her an evil look and then went to the garage door that held all of her stuff. Tom and I figured we would start with the bigger stuff, her bed, the couch, bedroom set, etc. So we started moving the...
