"The forest of the damned"-Part 1.
What do you know about Hell? Religious texts all over the world have one in some form or another, and its usually where all the sinners are sent to be tortured for eternity. What if I told you that it was really, just not in the way you picture it? My name is Danny, and I've not only been there and met Satan, but I got out back out as well.
It was the beginning of hunting season, and I wanted an early start to get the best kill, so I drove clear out to Chemault, then hopped onto the dirt roads and drove out as far as the road would take me. After about five hours, so around nine-thirty, the road came to an abrupt halt, and since it was already too late to get any big ones I decided to set up a temporary shelter and set my watch for four in the morning, then began to inspect my gear. I brought a regular .338 Winchester for actually hunting, and kept a .357 Magnum as well just incase of big predators like mountain lions and bears which are quite common in Oregon, a six inch Bowie knife, all purpose weather proof matches, compas, twenty feet of pari-cord rope, LED light, flares, spare batteries and ammunition. I'll admit, that it is a lot to take for hunting, but these woods can be tricky to navigate when its dark and you can get lost easily. With this all in my pack, I could last a while out there and have the ability to make my position known to any aircraft or searchers in the area.
