Simple Diary of Mine
First Page
On my 16th birthday, I got this diary of mine from my late grandmother. Before she died, she asked her daughter who is my mother to give it as a present on my next birthday. The diary was an old plain and has an old blank pages.
My first impression, I thought this was a mistake or got swapped from somebody else but now I don't think so. Along with this, there's a letter pinned inside between the pages. The letter contained with my grandmother's handwriting, it says,
"Everyday life is a new journey, I hope in your new adventure will bring a smile on your face."
Love Grandma,
My grandmother's letter gives me enough joy and I also hope too that my journey will always be full of luck.
My birthday party was usually held in our house but now, it held in my grandmother's house. Friends and Family, a common people on each birthday party. I still like them though and I had a great time especially to the gift I received from my grandmother.
After I read the letter, I start writing on this diary in the middle of the night. On this very first page, I want it to contain lots of my grandmother's love for me.
