Depressed
I walked down the empty road. As the sun was going down, I stared ahead at the beautiful swirls of colors in the sky. The warm tar felt good on my bare feet, and my ripped jeans dragged along the pavement. I reached into my pocket to pull out my smokes. Lighting one up, I glanced around the deserted desert. It was beautiful, just as I imagined it as a little girl.
Sweat dripped down my neck, but my white tank top soaked it up. I had no idea how long I'd been out here, but I knew that I was good as dead.
