"Don", I screamed. "Don it's me", I then heard another familiar voice. "Michael, where are you", it was Hannah. "I don't know, it's a small room". Then they appeared, they just came out of thin air. Hannah, Don and Alice were all standing a few feet away from each other, dripping in blood, just like me.
We stared at each other for a few seconds only to rurun to the center of the small, white room and hug. When we let go, I immediately knew that my friends had been tortured as well. Alice had a black eye and bruises all over her body. Hannah's right hand was covered in a white cloth, but it felt obvious that her fingers chopped off, and Don, it looked like he had been stabbed several times, in his arm, leg and stomach. His bright, green eyes now seemed red, and his great, wide smile was gone.
"We need to get out of here", I said. We all started looking for exits, even Don, who was limping and losing a lot of blood. "Hey Don, do you want to sit down or something, you don't s-", Alice stopped, for Don had interrupted her. "No, I'm gonna help us get out of here, it was my idea to come to this stupid town", then everyone stayed quiet, and kept looking. Then, something happened, hands started coming through the walls, long gray hands.
Alice screamed. The hands didn't seem to have any bodies, they were just hands, 15 of them I think. They started stretching across the room, one grabbing Don by the leg. It dragged him across the room and slammed him against the wall. The hands were gone and there was just the sound of fear. "Don", I screamed as we al, rushed over to his bleeding body. Hebwas barely breathing and had blood all over his face. "I'm gonna die", he finally said. The calmness in his voice surprised me. "No you're not", Alice said while Hannah just stared at him. "No, stop", he commanded, and we all did, "I'm not gonna make, I'm covered in blood and every single bone in my body is broken". There was more silence, until he called my name.
"Michael, can I have a little talk with you", he gave the girls a look, and they walked away. I sat down in front of him. "Thanks", he said. "For what", I looked confused. "For being there for me, for laughing with me, for working with me, but really, just being my friend", he said, smiling. A tear came down my eye. "Just promise me something", he began, "promise me that you'll find a way to get out of here, back to your family. And promise me that if you ever get the chance, you'll kill that frickin demon". "I promise" I said laughing with tears raining down my eyes. He started coughing up blood. "Now go", he said with a lighter tone. I stood up, gave him one last sad smile and walked to the other side of the room, where the girls were. But right before I got there, I got a thought, I was going to tell, him how I felt about him this whole time. I quickly turned around, but instead of seeing Don, still struggling to stay alive, I saw him laying on the floor, perfectly still. Don was dead.
Alice sat in a corner of the room, crying intk her hands. I stood in front of Don, hoping he would jolt back to life, knowing, deep inside, that would never be alive again. Hannah stood in the middle of the room, whimpering, she never trusted Don, but I always knew she had a small soft spot for him. Then, the demon came back, out of thin air just like he always had. "You all be free now", he said. Furious about what he did, I ran towards him to try to tackle him but ran right through him only to appear back in that blue house. I screamed in anger and frustration. I put my palms on my face and cried, cried and screamed and cried. After maybe 10 minutes, I saw Hanna and Alice appear in front of me.
We went home that night in silence. My parents screamed in horror when they saw me, took me to a hospital. When they asked me what happened, I explained everything truthfully. Some people belived me, yet most thought I was hiding something. After being questioned so much and hearing my parents discuss leaving me at a mental hospital, I ran away from home, lived in the streets. Made my own food, made my own money and made my own home. At the end, the demon did accomplish what it intended to do to me, he killed me that day at the town and I would never be the same.
