Men are taught to apologize for their weaknesses, Women for their strength part 2
. Thirdly, the achievements of women are underdetermined in such a way their participation is reduced to a minimum in the electoral process. In this way they are kept in darkness, thus neglecting the leadership qualities of women. Fourthly, an imbalanced quota system is another way to deny the strength of women. Even the current quota allocated for women in various public sectors is just limited to a piece of paper. Thus, the slogans of economic empowerment of women are, in fact, nothing but a mere lip service. As a result, their strength of economic competency is reduced to four walls of a house. Fifthly, it is an irony that the strengths of women are fragmented under the backdrop of biased socio-cultural practices even in the presence of vigilant media and strict law. The inhumane practices against women like marriage with Quran, child marriage, honor killings, ‘Karo Kari’, ‘vanii’, acid throwing and burning alive have assumed almost the status of cultural norms. In this way, their strength as a house maker and caretaker is gravely reduced to a mere housewife. Sixthly, myths have diametrically plagued the strength of women. They are stigmatized with the notions of weaker sex, poor decision maker, source of evil, hysterical emotions and ill-minded entities. Under the prevalence of such myths and prejudices, women cannot come up with the challenges of the modern era, hence, lag far behind compared to men. Furthermore, a discriminatory attitude is common towards the education of women.
