What made me sulk and reminisce?
It’s the typical girl meets boy, girl likes boy, girl and boy like each other, girl and boy go into a relationship. Girl and boy have it good for a while, boy promises on forever, and girl promises back, boy starts acting distant and cold, girl notices, confronts boy about it, boy reassures her, calms her nerves, boy says all is fine; girl feels great, girl believes boy.
Things start to look up again for girl and boy, in fact, they appear to be closer than ever, girl is happy, content; boy forces himself to be. Boy wonders how long he can keep up with this charade, but, every time girl wants to address issues, boy says things like: “I love you”, “you mean the world to me”, “you’re my last bus stop”, “I’m at my best with you”, “you help me be a better man” “I want to spend the rest of my life with you” “you make me feel at home” and so on, all to pacify girl. Sadly, girl always let things go and believes everything he says. Because girl loves him.
