A murder mystery
Early morning. The phone rang with a dark news. My junior committed suicide. Reason unknown. He kept an young lady without even giving a thought about her. A simple imbalance in them created the mess. People gossips about it. No one thinks from her side. Love isn't one-sided. It needs two heart. What if I loose her suddenly. My bloods are moving down. Feeling cold. My wife arrives with a cup of coffee. She isn't aware about him. They tied a knot in the auspicious day of Bhaibeej. She is Maharashtrian and he from Simla.
I didn't utter a single word except saying we need to go out immediately. She was astonished. We reached to his home. The police is there except his wife. I tried to search her, but no trace. Where she might be! Even the officer isn't aware. Though I received the call from her.
At night I received another text, should I surrender though I am innocent. My hand chocked for a minute, I called Dia - my wife.
She saw the text and switched off the phone. And with a pause she declared - never rely anyone who doesn't face the issue. She has been connected to a group for sometime and your junior had conflict with them. They fought eachother several times, now you need to find the root.
My night passed only in thinking what exactly Dia wanted to convey through this. I sat on a chair watching the tree neaarby and asking myself about death and quitting from life. He could have said this to me, count me as his elder brother.
Early morning I went out. Dia was sleeping in bed. Her bare feet with a bluish gown looking beautiful. Sleeping faces are always innocent.
First I walked toward the lake, and then to his quarters. It's void.
A Police blocked me on the way and asked - Sir, how much do you connected to Him.
- with whom?
- your junior, Reet.
- you mean to say upto which depth? Reet was like my brother. An young energetic officer who couldn't sustain to take pressure. I don't think it's a suicide it's a planned murder. Someone is trying to kill both of them, because his wife is still missing.
- we feel so as we have found her body early morning.
contd.
