Sun was shinning brightly. Felicity sat in their lounge of airport wearing a peach turtle neck with blue jeans along with Min's leather jacket. Stacy was sitting beside her slowly dozing. Flight was an hour late. Felicity adjusted her goggles and mask nervously. Phone in her side pocket buzzed with all her might. Frustrated she disconnected the call. Board of directors are always a pain in head. Morning replayed in her mind. 

When she finished looking up documents. She reached out for intercom.

I want all of security staff along with CCTV footage of yesterday in my office within next 15 minutes.

On their way mam

Stacy answered. In next 15 minutes everything Felicity requested were there. Felicity checked footage of multiple cameras. It turned out the pizza security ordered had something in it. Soon after having it. All of them got knocked out. The same person who came to deliver pizza walked in graciously. Felicity rubbed her forehead in annoyance and turned computer infront of them.

Mam we are sorry

This security staff was appointed by Min. All of them served for years. Felicity had little doubt over their honesty.

When people are at our tail like this i expect you to be careful next time. If i have not been there last night; all would have been lost.

Security chief stepped up

Mam we apologize. In morning and noon we eat from pantry. After closing hours we cant do anything.

Felicity bit her lip in frustration

But she works in a bar and i dont know where to find her.

She sighed

From now on pantry will provide food during night times as well. You all are dismissed. Stacy you stay

Yes mam

You will come with me to airport for picking up guests.

Ofcourse mam but i suggest you should stay in office. I will pick them up myself.

Felicity gave younger a deadly glance. She gulped

Are you dictating stuff Stacy

Ofcourse not mam. I am just suggesting. Scandal came out. People will judge you or worst can hurt you in public

I promised and i cant back off now. 

Mam but

Its okay Stacy let them think what they want to.

It wouldn't be easy

It has never been easy Stacy now go get ready.

Felicity turned towards laptop again. Stacy stood their biting her lip.

What is it now Stacy?

I was wondering how will we provide them food in night. The chef only works 8 to 5.

I will cook for them

You what?

Stacy gasped and her mouth fell open. Felicity smiled and nodded

Yes Stacy I will

But how can you? You are the owner?

Thats clinche Stacy; ofcourse i can. Its just  a stereotype that owners dont work. Only the true owner of a house knows its worth and will do anything to keep it going. Service is an honor. When they guard us 24/7 its okay I can cook for them.

 If this  goes out what will people say.

Felicity smiled and leaned onto her chair. 

Stacy my dear

Please stop worrying too much and do your job. I got disowned by my family and my friends decided to abandon me. Now this company is my home and everyone here is my family.

A woman can make any place home. Besides I dont care now what will people think.

An announcement broke the trance of Felicity's thoughts; she inhaled in a large sum of air. Stacy wasnt lying. When she checked in at airport some of staff had visible disgusting expressions on their faces. Slowly she shook Stacy who was sleeping beside her. The guests arrived and Felicity drove them off to the company. Mr. Leo came with his wife Lisa. He was mayor of Vaticin city and met Felicity on a conference in UN headquarters. They were here to work out terms for digital security system. Crimes in Vaticin city were getting out of hand.

"I heard winter hit America really hard."

Mr. Leo joked

"I disagree Sir. We are driving really smoothly. Winter is yet to come" 

Felicity smiled

"Not really smooth of you; I heard you all over news in the day. I dont know why Leo ever decided to come to a person like you in foreign."

Lisa exclaimed in a snarky tone

"Humble apologies mam, if you came to trade with me based on my reputation and credibility. You might be disappointed. When is market not overflowing with juicy gossips. On contrary if you are interested in tech we make best here in whole region.

Lady shifted in annoyance. Felicity felt a pang in her heart. Stacy gave Felicity a side glance. People are gonna judge. No matter how much you do. The world is increasingly designed to make us happy and depressed. Only those can stand out who learn to stay above such things. Felicity parked the car. The guests were escorted to Felicity's office. Refreshments were served. Felicity stepped out on terrace annoyance with phone in her hand. She wanted to bang it in the wall owing how much it has been ringing since this morning. She attended call of Chief Board of Directors.

I am with foreign investors right now. I thought agenda was pretty evident. I am signing a contract this evening

A cold chill ran through Felicity's spine

Felicity disconnected line and huffed in annoyance. A sharp wave of pain struck her head. She held onto railing while forcing her tears inside. She looked towards the sky and said:

Stop! Make the pain go away God. I cant take this anymore.

She collected herself and returned back to office. She entertained guests all day, showed them around office, had lunch with them, discussed technology and terms. In evening finally the contract was signed between them. She told Stacy to spread news through social media as much as she can and also prepare press briefing tomorrow at 11. Younger diligently complied to the request. Guests were dropped to rest in nearest hotel. For celebrations she cooked pasta for everyone. After she finished up everything she checked her phone. There was a text from anonymous number.

Congrats on your little victory. Celebrate as much as you want this happiness shall not last forever my fancy freak.

We shall see 

Felicity left a text. After it she blocked and deleted that number. She placed her head on table and dozed off.
